About Me

I started writing as a child. Before I could write, I told stories to anyone who would listen. I have always loved books, movies and any form of story.
Though I have another blog, I started this blog purely for my fiction. My intention is to just have a story-telling corner, so to speak.
I live in California and am currently marketing a mystery novel.
All comments are welcomed and encouraged, even critical ones. I will, however, delete anything intentionally malicious.
Stay as long as you like.

Hey, Sarah!
Get yourself over to Growing Blogs before it changes, if you want to see yourself listed at, I forget, Number 33 I think.

sarah
Currently Number 16.
I have no idea what it means.
But I do know you can save the page.
You know, for your scrapbook!
Love from the house,
–David
oh you’re so cute. i’m afraid i haven’t a scrap book, nor room to keep one. i suppose my scrap book is kept between my ears so to speak.
love,
sarah
Sarah,
I was looking for this other blog you speak of. Is it on here?
Kim

Sarah!
How are you, beautiful?
When I write something that has the sort of heart that makes me feel I’ve accomplished something such as you do all the time, I want to come and tell you. So please accept my invitation to visit and read “Waiting on Family” for me. People are responding in ways that make me proud.
I’ve been enjoying traipsing through your work…fits of beauty and sadness in it…melancholy…when I have more time I will try to come back and enjoy some more, maybe examine a specific work.
i like the idea of a new visitor traipsing through my work, as though it is a field of wild flowers. i’ll be delighted to see you on your return and will be interested in your feedback. welcome and thank you for coming by for a visit.

Dear Sarah,
I visited a little while ago because you feautred one of my videos, and I came back and noticed you asked for the URL of the site where I keep my photos. You can click on my name and it will take you to my main website, and the link is there, but here is the URL to the Webshots Gallery itself: The folders for the Getty are about halfway down the page.

Since I was here, I also read your recent poetry entries. Your haiku are simple yet elegant, and I enjoyed the evocation of Frost in “The Me of Me” and the sublime and bittersweet thoughts of “A Pulse” and “The Sad Funnies”.
Nice work. I haven’t written much poetry lately, but my life’s work is online:

Thank you for your kind words about my poetry – you are a kind soul.
sarah, just a writer
There’s lots of beauty here.

Of course you probably already knew that.
It’s all really good and gives me some excellent reading. Especially when I should be doing something else!
B
i’m very flattered that you spent so much time in my little reading room. and i’m glad you felt you found beauty here – that makes me feel good.
oops, you better make sure you don’t get caught.
sarah
Hey there girlfriend.
I’ve been thinking about you lately, appreciating your poetry more and more.
I am gowing through serious poetry growing pains, and at this point I am not convinced that the result is going to be worth much. But, that’s how it gows with growing pains, the trick is to keep growing, no matter how individual days, moments feel like, yes?
Anyway, your work is beautiful and newly appreciated.
hey there spaz,
the feeling is mutual. yes, we do have to keep growing, you’re right. it wasn’t until i had this blog that i really spent much time on poetry – now i am finding it a sanctuary for my psyche. isn’t that amazing? i never would have thought it.
love ya,
sarah
The muse has returned! The muse has returned! I stand in awe, and quite speechless at the new arrivals … so instead of bumbling thru words on the individual poetry, I will just offer much appreciation to the muse here.
Have you considered self-publishing? Of course you have, but then why not?? I just saw a book from friend that was done at Blrub, and it was awesome. Made me think of you … I want to buy a book of your poetry!
i’m speechless and flattered beyond words, i’m afraid gerry. and welcome back and thank you. i am still trying to sort out what and how to publish, i find it all very overwhelming.
yes, it has been a productive period for me these past few weeks, i hope it continues.
thanks again.

Hi Sarah.
I just thought I’d come and say hello and tell you that I have listen to all your podcasts and I love them all. You write moving poetry with such a sweet knowing voice with magical tones. Yes ! Words that touch the soul with a voice to match.
Your very sweet. I may write Sarah a magical poem. I wrote a poem for a freind just recently, my first poem, well not actually my first one, but my first one for a friend. It took the whole of 3 minuites.
Umm !! I wonder if I could be one of them there great poets. We can do anything we want can’t we. I sure have a busy head full of wonderment.
Love in Poetry, Love IS Poetry, Poetry is Love.

hello di,
i’m glad you and others seem to be enjoying the pods – it was a new adventure which i was unsure of. i’m hoping i can improve them as time goes on though – get all that technical stuff understood and in operation. i’m sure that you could be a great poet, and yes we can be whatever we want, can’t we?
oh how you make me smile – always happy to see my number one fan.
love
sarah
